Admittedly, that’s because this kit uses a 5ml refill container rather than the 10ml variety you find with larger kits, so you are sacrificing some capacity as a result. Its 2ml pod and 5ml refill container are housed in a compact square design (rather than the typical ‘bar’ design of Gold Bar disposable) that’s sleek and lightweight. The metal body feels high-quality and durable, and its gold and black colouring gives it a classy finish.
How Easy Is It To Use The Gold Bar Apollo 20K Kit?
The Apollo 20K keeps set-up and changing empty pods incredibly simple, which is good news for beginner vapers. Each refill pack contains a 2ml pod and 5ml refill tank that simply click together and then slide into the device. From there, you’re ready to start vaping.
When your e-liquid runs out, slide out the old pods, slide in the new ones, and get back to vaping.
If you’re a seasoned vaper, you might be used to calling plastic containers with coils ‘pods’, but Gold Bar have opted to call it a “tank” and our below instructions match the language used in the manual that comes with your kit.
Take your Gold Bar Apollo 20K Vape Kit out of the packaging
Take the device out of the box and remove the black plastic cover.
Remove the tank
Slide the tank upwards to remove it from the device.
Prepare The Tank
Remove the rubber bungs and stickers from the tank.
Prepare The Refill Container
Remove the refill container from its packaging and peel off the sticker.
Connect The Refill Pod
Insert the pod into the side of the tank. Twice the container clockwise to click it into place.
Insert Tank And Replace The Cover
Slide the connected tank and refill container back into the device. Magnets will hold it in place. Then replace the black plastic cover.

The Battery
The 1000mAh battery will last most vapers a full day and can be quickly recharged via the port on the side of the device. Unfortunately, this kit doesn’t include a USB-C charger, but, as it uses a standard USB-C cable, you’ll likely have one lying around your house. If not, we stock them too.
The Pods
Not only are the Apollo pods prefilled with e-liquid, the 2ml pod contains a built-in hyper mesh coil. Thanks to this coil, you can swap out your refill containers up to six times before your coil begins to taste burnt. Once this happens, simply replace the pod and refill container together and get back to vaping.

The kit provides up to 4,000 puffs with each refill pack, offering a cheaper way to vape with a fraction of the waste. Of course, with a kit this small you will need to replace your refill packs more often than you would with a larger big puff kit, which can end up costing you extra. However, for many vapers the compact nature of this device is a fair trade-off.
The kit delivers some of the most popular flavours found in Gold Bar disposable vapes and these flavours are bold and punchy. However, if I have to fault the kit for something, there are currently only 10 flavours available and only one nic strength (20mg).
In the future I’d love to see some even more flavours make their way from the disposables to the pods.
